With her heart now in the hands of a new love as well as the two children left in their care, Hannah Lapp finds her Englischer life more than she'd ever hoped for and is actively pursuing a future with Martin and in medicine. When she receives a call from her sister Sarah, desperate for help, Hannah reluctantly returns to the Old Order Amish community that ostracized her. Once home, she must face her disapproving father and her former fiance, Paul Waddell, and it seems only Paul holds the key to her sister's mental health. When Hannah dares to speak her mind to him, she realizes that a lie separated them--one Paul knows nothing about.
As they work together for Sarah's sake, her feelings for Paul become too strong to ignore and Hannah's faced with choosing between the two men she loves--one an Englischer and one a Plain man. Free to follow her heart's desire, Hannah must discover her true desires and choose between the two vastly different worlds.

I am presently reading this book. I love Christian fiction and especially, novels which
involve the Mennonite/Amish.

When I started this book, I was interested in finding out if Hannah would marry the Englisher or the Amish guy. When I finished it, I was encouraged, uplifted and found my hope renewed. Doesn't matter whether Englisher or Amish, we all need to see how bad things that heppen in our lives can bring about good. Had Hannah not gone through things that left her hurting and ran from them, she would not have become a nurse. That turned out to help her sister, her best friend and others. Also Hannah learned a lot about forgiveness as did Paul and others in the book and this is a lesson we all need to learn. I wept through parts of the book but there were tears of joy too. It was a very touching book and I refuse to let on who Hannah ended up marrying because you have to read it for yourself to get the full impact. It was lovely the way God worked all through this book.

I really enjoyed the book #3 of the Quilt Series. I hadn't read the first book but read #2 and realized I had to get book #3 to complete the story. It was very easy reading and one I couldn't put down. Looking forward to reading more of the same quality and scriptural content. Thank you for the promtness in sending my books when I order them.
